About Our Products
What materials do you use?
We use high-quality hardwoods and sustainably sourced plywood, selected for their durability and beautiful finish. Materials may vary slightly depending on availability at the time your order is made, but if you'd like details about a specific piece, we're always happy to provide them.
Are your items handmade?
Yes. Every piece is designed, engraved, and finished by hand in our workshop. We take great care with each order to ensure a high standard of craftsmanship.
Can I request a custom design?
Absolutely. If you have something specific in mind, we're happy to work with you to create a bespoke piece. Just use our custom quote form or contact us directly.
Personalisation & Design
How do I submit my personalisation details?
You can add your text or design notes in the personalisation box on the product page. Alternatively, you're welcome to email the details to us at admin@drakart.org. If anything needs clarification, we'll get in touch before we begin your order.
Can I see a preview before you make my order?
Yes. For personalised items, we can provide a digital proof for your approval before engraving to ensure everything is perfect.
Do you accept logos or images?
We can engrave most clean, high-quality black-and-white vector images. If you're unsure whether your file will work, feel free to send it over for review.
Processing & Delivery
How long will my order take?
Our standard processing time is 14 days as items are made to order. Custom or detailed designs may take slightly longer, but we'll always keep you updated on progress.
Which delivery services do you use?
We ship via Royal Mail and trusted couriers, depending on the size and nature of your order.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. International shipping times and costs vary by location and are shown clearly at checkout.
Can I collect my order in person?
Yes, local collection is available from our workshop in Johnstone. Please contact us to arrange a suitable time for collection.
Payment & Ordering
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major debit and credit cards, and other secure payment options available at checkout.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If production hasn't started, we can usually make changes. Once a personalised item has been engraved, cancellations are no longer possible, so please contact us promptly if you need to amend anything.
Gift Orders
Can you send my order as a gift?
Yes. We can include a gift message and remove pricing from the packing slip. Just let us know at checkout.
Aftercare & Quality
How do I care for my wooden item?
Keep your item dry, avoid direct heat, and wipe it with a soft cloth. For oiled finishes, a light re-oil every few months will help maintain its appearance.
What if there's a problem with my order?
If something isn't quite right, please contact us within 14 days. See our Returns and Refunds policy for more information.
Custom Projects & Visits
Do you offer bulk or corporate orders?
Yes. We can create branded or personalised items for events, businesses, and weddings. Contact us for bulk pricing.
Can you help me design something from scratch?
Certainly. Share your idea with us — even if it's still taking shape — and we'll guide you through the design process.
Do you have a physical shop I can visit?
We are a workshop rather than a retail store, so we don't have standard opening hours for browsing. However, visits are welcome by appointment if you'd like to discuss a project.
